Reasons For Nintendo No Longer Give Login Player Access From Facebook And Twitter
JAKARTA - Logins and the creation of Nintendo accounts via Facebook and Twitter will soon be deactivated starting October 25. In its official announcement, Nintendo said users would no longer be able to link Facebook and Twitter accounts to their Nintendo accounts. In fact, users can no longer create their new Nintendo Account through social media starting that day.
If a user is asked to log in again after the new policy takes effect, simply enter the email address or username associated with the user's Nintendo account to log in. Users can also use their Google or Apple account.
Actually, linking accounts to Twitter and Facebook makes it easier for users to add friends, because Nintendo can search for other potential users from one of the accounts.

However, according to The Verge, Wednesday, September 21, since the Japanese game company updated its Switch Online mobile app to make it easier to add friends, users no longer need Twitter or Facebook when they want to add other users.
Quoted from Digital Trends, fans speculate that Nintendo will not allow fans to log into their Nintendo Account via Facebook and Twitter for security reasons.
Even so, Nintendo has not confirmed whether it is true that the company stopped the entry process through social media accounts due to possible security concerns.
For information, Nintendo previously also announced that they would delete image sharing on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS on October 25.
This means that users no longer have the ability to post images on Twitter or Facebook via one of the devices. Every image or comment posted after the shutdown will remain available on Twitter or Facebook.
