No Mental Victims When Honda Brio Collis 10 Motors In Bantul
JAKARTA - The Bantul Police, Yogyakarta, confirmed that no one died as a result of a traffic accident, a four-wheeled vehicle crashed into 10 motorbikes on Jalan Mrisi Selatan, Madukismo, Kasihan, last Tuesday, September 20.
"There were no victims who died, the rumors circulating that there were victims who died wrong," said Head of Public Relations of the Bantul Police Iptu I Nengah Jeffry in a written statement in Bantul, Wednesday, September 21, quoted from Antara.
As a result of the accident, dozens of motorcyclists were injured and they were immediately taken to PKU Muhamadiah Bantul Hospital and Panembahan Senopati Hospital.
"The victim was injured and is already being treated at the hospital. We are also sorry for this incident with many injured victims," he said.
His party also thanked the community and PMI and other volunteers who had helped the victims to be taken to the hospital shortly after the traffic accident.
According to him, the case has been handled by the Laka unit of the Bantul Police and is still under investigation. However, the victims still cannot be questioned because they are still being treated at the hospital.
"And the car driver has been arrested, but he is still in a state of shock, so he can't be questioned yet," he said.
The accident occurred on Tuesday (20/9) at around 15.00 WIB on Jalan Mrisi, Tirtonirmolo Kasihan, Bantul when a Honda Brio car with the number AD 8867 DJ arrived from the north, when he arrived at the scene he hit a motorcyclist, and was suspected of having panicked which eventually hit another vehicle as well.
"The condition of roads that are not too wide of course really needs accuracy in speed and concentration for safe distances to avoid friction with other motorists. We ask you to be wise in driving for the safety of yourself and others," he said.
