Support Inflation Control In Jakarta, The Food Station Holds A MoU With 2 West Java Gapoktan

JAKARTA - PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya as the DKI Jakarta Food BUMD held the signing of the Rice Commodity Standingby Cooperation Agreement with Partners in several areas, including PT Mitra Desa Bersama Tempuran Karawang, West Java and the Cirebon Berkah Rumpun Cooperative, West Java, Tuesday, September 19, 2022.

The signing ceremony was carried out by the President Director of PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya Pamrihadi Wiraryo with representatives from the two partners on the sidelines of the 2022 DKI Jakarta National Movement for Food Inflation Control organized by Bank Indonesia DKI Jakarta at the Heritage Building, Bank Indonesia Representative Office, DKI Jakarta.

The signing of the Cooperation Agreement was witnessed directly by the Assistant for the Economy and Finance of DKI Jakarta Sri Haryati, Head of Bank Indonesia DKI Jakarta Onny Wijanarko, Member of Commission XI DPR RI Anis Byarwati, Acting Head of BP BUMD DKI Jakarta Fitria Rahadiani, Head of the Department of Food, Maritime and Agriculture Security Suharini Eliawati, Director of Operations and Business Andre Maulana, and Director of Finance and General Affairs Budi Santoso.

President Director of PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya Pamrihadi Wiraryo said in this collaboration, the Food Station acts as a Rice Commodity Standby Buyer with Partners in several areas, including PT Mitra Desa Bersama Tempuran Karawang, West Java and Rumpun Cooperative Padi Berkah Cirebon, West Java.

"This collaboration is a step to support DKI Jakarta Food Security and activation of DKI Jakarta Inflation Control. Through this collaboration, we also act as a Standby Buyer (Siaga Buyer)," said Pamrihadi, in a statement, Tuesday, September 20.

With the National Movement for Food Inflation Control, continued Pamrihadi, the Food Station will continue to cooperate with stakeholders, farmer/gapoktan/operative partners, Central and Regional Governments to ensure supply availability so that they are able to maintain food security, provide price affordability, and assist control of Regional Inflation.

In addition, the Food Station will continue to expand cooperation, increase synergies between regions and continue to innovate in maintaining Food Health in DKI Jakarta.

Assistant for the Economy and Finance of the DKI Jakarta Secretariat, Sri Haryati said that there was a turmoil in inflation and in order to maintain the security of DKI Jakarta's food, the DKI Jakarta Government invited all interested parties, including the TPID of DKI Jakarta Province, TPIP, Central Government, Bank Indonesia, Farmers Group, and all levels of society to support efforts to increase food security and control of Jakarta and National Inflation by participating in supporting the National Movement for Food Inflation Control.

Head of the DKI Jakarta BI Regional Office, Onny Wijanarko, said that the DKI Jakarta TPID had carried out 7 flagship GNPIP programs, including: Optimizing Budgets for Subsidized Food Programs, Market and KPSH Operations as well as to maintain Purchase, Expansion of Inter-Regional Cooperation, Optimization of Strategic Food Distribution Facilitation, Strengthening Information Technology Infrastructure, Data Digitization, and Food Information, Strengthening the Resilience of Horticulture Commodities and Strengthening Other Strategic Food Supply, Increasing the Utilization of Alsintan and Saprotan and Strengthening Coordination and Communication.

"With the cooperation and synergy that has been well established, we believe that our hope to always maintain DKI Jakarta's Inflation can be achieved," said Onny.
