The KPK Continues To Collect Evidence Of Alleged Corruption From The Governor Of Papua Lukas Enembe
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is currently gathering evidence of the alleged corruption that ensnared Papua Governor Lukas Enembe. The investigation will continue to be carried out to make light of this case.
"Currently the collection and completing of evidence is still being carried out," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters, Tuesday, September 20.
The KPK will also summon relevant parties in this case. They were asked to cooperate in responding to the summons.
A similar request was also conveyed for Lukas Enembe, who at the first examination was not present. At that time, he was not present because he claimed to be sick.
"We hope that the parties summoned by the investigators will cooperate so that this investigation will run smoothly and provide legal certainty," he said.
As previously reported, Lukas Enembe has been named a suspect by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).
This determination is based on complaints from the public. The case that ensnared him has not been detailed, but he has been prevented from going abroad for six months.
