Italian Serie A League Results Surprise: Juventus Swallowed First Defeat, Defeated By Monza 0-1
JAKARTA - Monza gave Juventus their first defeat in Serie A this season with a 1-0 score in the 7th week of the Italian Serie A at the Brianteo Stadium on Sunday (18/09) night WIB.
Juventus, who needed a win, was even made difficult because they had to play with 10 people after Angel Di Maria received a red card. Monza successfully took advantage of the player's advantage and scored the winning goal thanks to Christian Gytkjaer.
This result makes Juventus stuck in the eighth position standings with 10 points. While Monza rose to 18th position with four points.

Patrick Ciurria got a chance in the 18th minute, unfortunately, his shot went wide on the right side of the Juventus goal. Vlahovic had a golden opportunity in front of Monza's goal 10 minutes later, but his shot was saved by goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio.
Disaster struck Juventus when they had to play with 10 men since the 40th minute after Di Maria received a straight red card. Guarded by Izzo from behind, the Argentine looked emotional and finally nudged his opponent in the chest.
The Juventus players protested, including Leonardo Bonucci who was on the bench. However, the referee's decision did not change.
No goals were scored and the first half closed with the score 0-0.
In the second half, Monza appeared pressing. Rovella fired from inside the penalty area in the 49th minute, but the ball was saved by Perin.
Monza really took advantage of the player's advantage and continued to press the visitors.
