The items were found when tower officers Dwi Prasetyo checked from tower one to office. At that time he saw a suspicious object in the form of pieces of sandals wrapped in plastic. The officer then took his findings and reported it directly to his superiors. The head of the Siak Rutan, Tonggo Butar-butar through the Head of the Rutan Security (KPR), Ralphy Prasetyo in his statement said when the officers reported the incident, his party immediately coordinated with the Siak Resort Police and secured the goods.
Furthermore, the Siak Police Narcotics Unit opened the findings, there were two small plastic packs containing white powder suspected of being methamphetamine. Then the detention center and Siak Police checked where the goods were found. The entry of the goods into the detention center was allegedly an unknown person from outside the wall who threw them at the Siak Ratutan brandgang. It is not clear how heavy the drugs were trying to be smuggled. Against these findings, the Rutan has submitted CCTV footage to the Siak Police so that they can carry out further investigations and development of cases.
