CGV, XXI, Flix, And Cinepolis Simultaneously Show Wonder Woman 1984 December 16

JAKARTA - Wonder Woman 1984 will be released on December 25, 2020 on theaters and streaming service HBO Max. But Indonesia will be the first country to see a sequel to this film.

Today, Thursday, November 26, several cinema chains such as CGV, XXI, Flix, and Cinepolis announced that Wonder Woman 1984 will air starting December 16, 2020 in Indonesia.

Of course this is in accordance with the announcement of the Warner Bros. production house that chose to premiere outside the United States.

This strategy is carried out in order to avoid the increasing number of film piracy during the pandemic. Apart from Indonesia, there were Belgium, France, Holland, England and Portugal who had the same opportunity.

Patty Jenkins' Wonder Woman 1984 tells the sequel of the first part. Gal Gadot is still asked to become Wonder Woman and other players such as Chris Pine, Pedro Pascal, Kristen Wiig, and Robin Wright are also back.
