Witness Key Not Present, Ipda Arsyad Daiva's Ethics Session Regarding The Case Of Brigadier J Postponed Until Next Week
JAKARTA - The trial of the Police Code of Ethics Commission (KKEP) with alleged violators of the former Head of Subunit I Unit I of the South Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim, Ipda Arsyad Daiva Gunawan, was postponed until next week.
"The trial has been postponed and will continue on Monday, September 26 at 10.00 WIB," said Police Public Relations Spokesperson Kombes Ade Yaya Suryana to reporters, Friday, September 16.
The reason for the postponement was because AKBP Arif Rachman Arifin was a key witness and was unable to attend the KKEP trial because he was sick.
In the follow-up trial, the prosecutor was asked to present two other witnesses besides AKBP Arif Rachman Arifin.
At yesterday's trial, three other witnesses, namely, AKP RS, Kompol IR, and Brigadier RRM, had their statements heard.
"The Commission asks the prosecutor to present other witnesses, namely AKBP RS and Kompol AS for a follow-up hearing on Monday," said Ade.
Ipda Arsyad Daiva Gunawan underwent a KKEP trial related to the murder case of Brigadier J. He is strongly suspected of being unprofessional in the crime scene (TKP) of the shooting of Brigadier J at the shelter of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo in Duren Tiga Jakarta.
Ipda Arsyad Daiva Gunawan is suspected of violating Article 13 paragraph 1 of PP number 1 of 2003 concerning the dismissal of members of the National Police in conjunction with Article 5 paragraph 1 letter C Article 10 Paragraph 1 letter d.
Then, Article 10 paragraph 2 letter h of Perpol Number 7 of 2022 concerning the Professional Code of Ethics and the Police Code of Ethics Commission.
