Arriving In Central Kalimantan, The Buron Of Corruption Cases At Trinsing Airport Was Placed At The Palangka Raya Detention Center

KALTENG - Investigators from the Central Kalimantan High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) have arrested a suspect in the alleged corruption in the construction of H. Muhammad Sidik Airport or Trinsing Airport, North Barito Regency, with the initials MYL, to the Palangka Raya State Detention Center (Rutan).

"As of the next 20 days from September 14 to October 3, 2022, suspect MYL is being held at the Palangka Raya Detention Center," said Head of Central Kalimantan Prosecutor's Office, Pathor Rahman through Kasi Penkum Dodik Mahendra in Palangka Raya, quoted from Antara, Friday, September 16.

The detention was based on the Order of the Head of the Central Kalimantan Prosecutor's Office Number: PRIN-02/O.2/Fd.1/09/2022 dated September 14, 2022 at the Class II A Rutan in Palangka Raya.

The suspect MYL arrived in Palangka Raya on Wednesday 14 at around 17.00 WIB. Furthermore, the suspect MYL was taken to the room in the field of special crimes at the Central Kalimantan Prosecutor's Office for examination purposes.

Dodik explained that the suspect MYL had previously been a fugitive on the People's Wanted List (DPO) from the Central Kalimantan Prosecutor's Office. MYL was called as a suspect and never fulfilled the summons of the Central Kalimantan Prosecutor's Office investigators.

During his escape, MYL was arrested by the AGO's Tabur Team in a house located in Setu Village, Cipayung District, East Jakarta City, Tuesday, September 13, at around 14.00 WIB.

"MYL was named a corruption suspect based on the Suspect Determination Letter from the Head of the Central Kalimantan Prosecutor's Office Number: B-1678/O.2/Fd.1/06/2019 dated 27 June 2019," he explained.

Corruption related to the work on the construction of the PKP-PK road and the construction of a 2014 decker plate (3300M2) carried out by PT USK with a contract value of more than Rp1.54 billion.

In order to account for his actions, MYL is suspected of violating Article 2 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 3 of Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption as amended by Law no. 20 of 2001 jo. Article 55 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code.

"Based on the results of the 2020 BPKP audit report, the state suffered a loss of Rp1.366 billion," said Dodik Mahendra.
