Universal Delays Screening Of The 355 Film
JAKARTA - Universal Pictures' The 355 is the latest film to be postponed. Initially, this film was scheduled to air January 15, 2021. But now it is January 14, 2022.
This Simon Kinberg-directed film went through a long process before it got an official broadcast date. In July, they had an additional photo shoot in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic even though the film had been completed since 2019.
Previously, Universal postponed screening for the film Fast & Furious: F9 to mid-2021, while Jurassic World: Dominion will premiere in June 2022.
The delay in broadcasting was due to cinema networks in the United States that were still not operating due to the increasing number of COVID-19 cases.
On the other hand, Universal has several films due for release at the end of 2020, namely The Croods: A New Age and News of the World. Both will be released in November and continued on VOD (Video on demand) on December 25.
The 355 is a heist thriller film starring Jessica Chastain, Lupita Nyong'o. Diane Kruger, Penelope Cruz, and Fan Bingbing. The five of them form a spy group to stop the evil organization that will destroy the world.
The 355 premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 2018. Then, the production house Universal Pictures purchased the film for domestic distribution.
