Sri Mulyani's Subordinates Call Regsosek For State Financial Management More Efficient
JAKARTA - Expert Staff of Organizations, Bureaucracy, and Information Technology of the Ministry of Finance, Sudarto, said that the Social and Economic Registration Program (Regsosek) can make state financial management more efficient.
"With accurate data, we can reduce overlapping activities. We can choose accurately which programs can be synergized, so that value for money APBN can increase," said Sudarto as quoted by Antara, Wednesday, September 14.
With data from the Regsosek Program, according to him, ministries and institutions do not need to build or allocate their own budget, but can share it with other ministries and institutions so that government programs can be more efficient.
"If everything is built separately, there is no technology that is cheap, it must be expensive. With only one building, based on the same database, it will be enough," he said.
He views that the data that will be integrated through the Regsosek Program will make the Ministry of Finance's program more targeted, especially programs to assist informal sector business actors that have not been recorded previously.
"With Regsosek, formal and informal data will be recorded. So we will know who has to pay taxes and who must be given tax incentives," said Sudarto.
Not only for financial managers at the state level, Regsosek data is believed to be useful for financial managers at the regional level.
"We from the Ministry of Finance see that the data from the Regsosek Program will definitely be very useful for state financial management at the central and regional levels," he said.
Previously, the Minister of National Planning and Development (PPN) or the Head of Bappenas, Suharso Monoarfa, said that the initial data collection of the Regsosek Program would be carried out from October to November 2022.
