Firefighters Make Sure The Death Fire In Cipayung Starting From An Electric Short Circuit In The Family Room

JAKARTA - From the results of checking the East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. to the luxury house that was burned down in the RW 03 area, Cilangkap Village, Cipayung District, East Jakarta, it is known that the area burned was only 4 x 4 meters.

"Losses are estimated at IDR 50 million. The location of the fire is on the 2nd floor of the residential house," said Head of the East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Gatot Sulaeman when confirmed by VOI, Wednesday, September 14.

The luxury house is known to be inhabited by one family head (KK) with 3 people. Among them are two adults and one child. The three named Syaiful (40) died, Tiana Migasari (40) was hospitalized and Sultan Saquile Apparel (6) was hospitalized.

"The cause of an electrical short was part of the victim's family room," he said.

Gatot explained that the owner of the house was built because it smelled smoke coming from the family room. The smell of smoke came from the table and sofa. Because the smoke had billowed, the owner of the house tried to get out through the window and break the glass.

Previously, it was reported that deadly fires hit densely populated areas in RW 03, Cilangkap Village, Cipayung District, East Jakarta, Wednesday, September 14, early in the morning.

As a result of this fire incident, one resident died in hospital during treatment.
