20 Residents' Settlement Fields In The Cengkareng Ludes Burnt Area

JAKARTA - Dozens of residential stalls in the Outer Ring Road area, RT 002/002, Duri Kosambi Village, Cengkareng District, West Jakarta were burned down. The fire is expected to appear on Wednesday, September 14, in the early hours of the morning, at 01.46 WIB.

The fire was then reported to the West Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. post. Officers arrived at the location at 01.52 WIB and immediately carried out the process of extinguishing the fire.

"The fire was localized at 02.28 WIB. The time of operation was completed at 05.15 WIB," said Head of West Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Syarifudin when confirmed by VOI, Wednesday, September 14, morning.

In the process of extinguishing the fire, 16 fire engines were dispatched to the location.

"There were 80 personnel deployed to extinguish the fire. The object that caught fire was 20 stalls with an area of 600 square meters," he said.

Luckily, there were no casualties or injuries as a result of this fire incident. However, the crowd is estimated at Rp. 380 million.

"The fire is thought to have been caused by an electrical short circuit. The number of heads of families affected by 20 families with 40 people," he said.
