The Reason The Police Have Not Disclosed The Results Of The Evaluation Of The Alleged Violation Of Princess Rizieq Shihab's Marriage Process
JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya has not been able to present the evaluation results from the testimonies of witnesses in a case of alleged violation of the health protocol (prokes) at the wedding of Rizieq Shihab's daughter. The reason is that the evaluation process is still ongoing by discussing various things.
"To this day we are still analyzing the evaluation, what investigators have collected here, the results of several clarifications, are still being investigated," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Yusri Yunus, to reporters, Wednesday, November 25.
In addition, the investigating team is also waiting for several witnesses who were not present at the invitation for clarification earlier. Investigators have rescheduled to ask for their information.
A number of witnesses who were not present at the invitation for clarification included Syarifah Najwa Shihab and Muhammad Irfan, who were Rizieq Shihab's son and son-in-law as well as the bride and groom at a wedding allegedly violating health protocols.
"We are still scheduled to attend some witnesses who are unable to attend. But while analyzing the evaluation, whether the initial case title can be done, we will wait for investigators," he said.
If in the evaluation the investigator thinks this case can be brought up to investigation, then the testimony of witnesses who are not present may not be needed.
"If it is deemed sufficient for the construction of the case to be able to move up to the level of investigation, then later we can conduct a case title. We cannot rush it," he said.
In the process of investigating this case, dozens of witnesses have been questioned. Some of them are DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan, who was clarified on Tuesday, November 17. Anies, who was questioned for 7 hours, admitted that he had 33 questions.
The Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta, Riza Patria, was also clarified on Monday, 23 November. Riza was asked 46 questions, the majority of which were about the crowds in Petamburan and Tebet.
