Taking A Closer Look At The Way The Central Java Police Have Security And Kenyanal Security Delegation Of The G20 Delegation
JAKARTA - Central Java Police Chief Inspector General Ahmad Luthfi guarantees the safety and comfort of the participants and delegates at the G20 Cultural Order event in Borobudur.
"We are doing security, not only providing a sense of security but also comfortable for all delegates who are present in the Central Java region," said Ahmad at the Integrated Pospam CMM G20 in Borobudur, Magelang Regency, Central Java, Monday, September 12.
He explained that the security in the activity involved 1,700 personnel, which was held starting from the arrival of guests in the Yogyakarta Special Region Police, securing and escorting lanes from DIY to Magelang, as well as open and closed security to safe houses in the Magelang area.
multi-layered security is also carried out in a number of zones, ranging from hotels to hotels, activity locations, and meeting activities. In each of these locations, the security ring is divided from inside to around the security location.
"For the delegates, attached security is also carried out from the LO (liaison officer) provided by the Central Java Police, starting from arrivals to completion of activity events; and members are provided who stand by at the security location for 1x24 hours," he explained as quoted by Antara.
The security activities were carried out from Saturday (10/9) to the return of the guests of the delegation on Wednesday (14/9).
"We have established various command posts at each security location, even at the joint post it also involves various agencies, not only the Police," he said.
He emphasized that the level of security provided would be the same, both for domestic and foreign guests, taking into account the standard operating procedures (SOPs) for securing and escorting VVIPs.
Although prioritizing the comfort of the guests of the delegation, he said, his party continues to enforce the law against alleged disturbances to public security and order as well as criminal acts that have the potential to threaten the smooth running of G20 activities in Central Java.
Regarding the potential threat of terrorism, the National Police has dispatched a team from Gegana Brimob to carry out sterilization, both at the location where the stay is until the location of the activity takes place.
"The security we provide is comfortable. So, not only firm but prioritizes the comfort of the guests of the delegates who attend the G20 activities. So, the public is happy with the G20 event; and the main thing is that the guests of the delegates feel comfortable with the security provided," he said.
With the comfort felt by the guests of the delegation, he hopes to provide an overview of Indonesia's warm and comfortable culture.
