Ferrari Not Also Champions, Mattia Binotto Stays Supported By The President

JAKARTA - Ferrari president John Elkann has placed great confidence in Mattia Binotto. The Ferrari principal team in Formula 1 is considered to be bringing the team back to its heyday.

This season, Binotto actually got the spotlight. The reason is, Ferrari often makes mistakes in racing.

As a result, the Jingkrak Horse Team again failed to block the Red Bull Racing rate even though it actually had a capable pace.

Evidently, Charles Leclerc was able to win two of the first three F1 2022 races. However, after that, a series of failures had to be experienced by Ferrari.

"No, because I think you can always do better. But I believe that putting your faith in Binotto and his team is the right decision and has paid off," Elkann told La Gazzetta dello Sport as reported by Antara from AFP.

According to Elkann, Binotto has made Ferrari back competitive. Indeed, before the presence of Binotto, Ferrari was always absorbed by Red Bull Racing and Mercedes.

He then agreed with Binotto who once said there was still room for Ferrari to make improvements by heading for the champions' stairs.

"That's why I believe before 2026 Ferrari will once again win the title of constructors and drivers," he said.
