JAKARTA - The suspect, specialist in theft, broke into the minimarket roof with the initials S alias Jabrik (38) with the title as a captain of his gang. From Jabrik's confession, he once stole iron before getting the idea of a theft at a minimarket.
Jabrik took advantage of his skills such as dismantling empty buildings as the basis for his theft mode. He also has a number of equipment equipment to carry out his actions.
"I got the idea from the demolition of people who used to demolish their houses (had worked as demolition workers for empty houses). Previously I had stolen iron as well, and they continued to sell," said suspect Jabrik to VOI, Friday, September 9.
Jabrik said his two friends who were arrested were friends he had just met. "(Stealing) In the most expensive minimarkets, Rp 24 million from one minimarket," he said.
After getting the stolen goods, Jabrik distributed the stolen money to two other friends. Jabrik admitted that he often acts in the South Jakarta area because he is close to his house. "My house is in Pancoran, that's why the most incidents in South Jakarta," he said.
Previously, it was reported that the East Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Budi Sartono, explained that the arrests of three minimarket burglars were carried out after the East Jakarta Metro Police received 5 reports of theft at five different regional points.
Furthermore, Kombes Budi formed a special team from the Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) to uncover the case. "Previously, receiving reports from minimarkets, the incident occurred in several minimarkets. Finally, I ordered the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit and formed a special team because of specialists," said Kombes Budi Sartono to reporters, Friday, September 9.
Furthermore, an investigation was carried out by the East Jakarta Metro Police Resmob Team. After further investigation, the gang of specialists for breaking into minimarkets was arrested.
