Joint SAR Team Find The Body Of A Rongsokan Goods Searcher Who Sinks Into The Cihaniwung River
JAKARTA - The joint SAR team found the body of Solihin (25), a searcher for junk goods that sank in the Cihaniwung River, Leuwiliang District, Bogor Regency, West Java. The victim's body was found at a radius of 2 km from the scene on Friday, September 9.
"We found the victim together with the joint SAR element, then they will be evacuated to the funeral home to be handed over to the family," Head of the Jakarta SAR Office as the SAR Mission Coordinator (SMC) in the SAR operation, Fazzli when confirmed by VOI, Friday, September 9.
The victim's body was found after dozens of joint SAR personnel conducted a search for the victim. "The search was carried out by three different teams," he said.
The first team conducted a search using a rubber boat along the Cihaniwung River up to a radius of 8 KM from the scene. The second team conducted a sweep with visual observations by land route along the banks of the Cihaniwung river up to a radius of 2 KM from the scene.
The third team made efforts to conduct a search below the surface of the water through the dive process using Aqua Eye and Underwater Search Device around the scene.
The dozens of joint SAR personnel who were deployed to carry out search efforts for victims include the Jakarta SAR Office, Leuwiliang Police, Bogor Regency BPBD, Bogor Regency Fire Department, Kec.Leuwiliang Satpol PP and others.
Previously, the victim, named Solihin (25) drowned because he slipped while looking for raw sokam on the banks of the Cihaniwung River, Leuwiliang District, Bogor Regency, West Java, Thursday, September 8.
