OJK Asks For DPR Permits Use The 2021 Excess Pension Budget To Use This Year
JAKARTA - The Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) today faces Commission XI of the DPR in the context of adjusting the budget for the second semester of 2022. Meanwhile, one of the agendas raised is the use of the 2021 overpayment budget which amounted to Rp39.2 billion.
"For this reason, we want to ensure the DPR's approval of the use of the remaining Rp39.2 billion," he said at the Senayan Parliament Complex, Jakarta on Thursday, September 8.
In general, Mirza explained that there was a change in the OJK budget for the 2022 period from the previous Rp6.32 trillion to Rp6.30 trillion. The budget decreased by around Rp22 billion from the previous estimate of types of administrative activities.
There are a few that don't match the projection, namely in revenue, around Rp22 billion. This happened because there was indeed a pandemic in making budget projections and assets from the financial sector were not as big as expected at that time so there was a difference," he said.
Meanwhile, the details of the OJK completion budget in the second semester of 2022 are operational activities of IDR 521.8 billion, administrative activities of IDR 5.2 trillion, asset procurement activities of IDR 543.5 billion, and other supporting activities of IDR 80.9 billion.
