Metro Police Calls Information From The Criminal Investigation Unit Determines The Fate Of The Penjaringan Police Chief Behind The Case Of Handling Online Judicials

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya will investigate the involvement of the Penjaringan Police Chief, Kompol Ratna Quratul Aini behind the case of abuse of authority in handling online gambling cases.

In that case, the Criminal Investigation Unit of AKP M Fajar along with seven of his members have been found guilty. In fact, they have been locked up in a special place (patsus).

"So we will see the results of the team's examination of the head of the office first. Is it true that the police chief knows or not the information," said Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Endra Zulpan to reporters, Thursday, September 8.

Later, the results of the examination of AKP M Fajar and his seven members will determine whether or not there is involvement of the Sector Police Chief. From there the action will be determined.

"That's what determines how the police chief is involved in this or not," said Zulpan.

Apart from that, Zulpan stated that AKP M Fajar and seven of his members had not been removed from their respective positions. The reason is that the matter will be determined in the Police Code of Ethics Commission (KKEP) trial.

However, it has not been clearly explained about the time the KKEP trial will be held.

"This code of ethics trial will decide on their attitude towards whether they are dismissed with disrespect or how the trial will decide and that will certainly affect their position," said Zulpan.

AKP M Fajar and seven of his members were questioned by the Paminal Bureau of the National Police Propam Division. They are suspected of abusing their authority in handling cases of online game chips.

The abuse of authority began when AKP M Fajar arrested an online game chip seller for selling more expensive than the market.

From the examination, the chip seller was released and no criminal violation was found.

However, behind it all there are reports that the online game chip seller spent some money to be released.
