JAKARTA - A Bahamas sprinter who had appeared at the 2016 Olympics, Shavez Hart was the victim of a shooting. He died from a shot in the chest while trying to stop fighting outside nightclubs.

This bloody incident occurred in Mount Hope in the Abaco Islands, the Bahamas, last Saturday at around 02.00. Unfortunately, the incident occurred four days before his 30th birthday, which fell on Tuesday, September 6.

The incident began when one of the men involved in an argument suddenly left the parking lot.

The perpetrator apparently took a gun from the car and then shot Hart in the chest. As a result of the gunfire, Hart was rushed to a local hospital but he was declared dead.
