SURABAYA - The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), Sunan Ampel State Islamic University (UINSA) released the results of the Surabaya Pilkada survey. The survey was conducted on November 2-12, or before the candidate pair's public debate was held. There were 350 respondents in the survey with a 95 percent confidence level.
"Using the multistage random sampling method," he said.
Holilah explained that the consideration of choosing a majority candidate in the city of Surabaya is rational and not emotional. This is evidenced by the high preference for programs and vision and mission of 29.4 percent, 23.7 percent of leadership abilities and 10.1 percent of experience.
"It turns out that only a small proportion of sociological tendencies, for example the religious factor, amounted to 7.7 percent," he said.
Meanwhile, the three main problems that need to be resolved by the future leaders of Surabaya City, according to respondents, are unemployment at 27.9 percent, and health insurance at 20.4 percent.
