Investigate Allegations Of Extortion, The Police Will Hold A Fire Case In The Surakarta RSJD
SURAKARTA - Surakarta City Police investigators will immediately conduct a case related to the fire case at the Surakarta Regional Mental Hospital (RSJD) which left two victims dead and three injured.
Head of the Surakarta Police Satreskrim Kompol Djohan Andika said his party had communicated with the Central Java Police Forensic Laboratory (Labfor) team regarding the results of forensic tests related to the fire case at the RSJD.
"We will coordinate again with the Labfor and immediately take the results next week," said Djohan Andika in Solo, Central Java, quoted from Antara, Wednesday, September 7.
According to him, the investigative team needed the results to find out whether the incident contained an element of negligence or not.
In the case title, he said, if there is an element of negligence, the determination stage of the suspect will be carried out. On the other hand, if not, it means that the incident was an accident or a disaster.
He said the investigative team had examined seven witnesses, then secured several pieces of evidence, including former components in the Puntadewa isolation room at the Surakarta RSJD, as well as several documents.
Previously, the Surakarta Police conducted an investigation related to the fire in the Puntadive District Attorney's Office, Dr. Arif Zainudin Surakarta, which occurred on Friday, August 5, at around 03.30 WIB. The incident caused two patients to die and three others suffered burns.
