Press Corruption In West Kalimantan, The Attorney General's Office For The Task Force For Handling Corruption Cases

PONTIANAK - Head of the West Kalimantan High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati), Masyhudi, inaugurated the Special Task Force for Handling and Settlement of Corruption Crime Cases (Satgassus P3TPK) in suppressing the minimum may be the practice of corruption in the province.

"As our seriousness in emphasizing the minimum possible corrupt practices, today I inaugurated 20 members of the P3TPK Task Force," said Masyhudi in Pontianak, quoted from Antara, Wednesday, September 7.

He explained that the establishment of the P3TPK Task Force was a strategic effort for the prosecutor's office to continue to move and work in order to create a professional, proportional, responsible and conscience prosecutor, to answer public demands and restore public trust in the Prosecutor's Institute, especially the West Kalimantan Prosecutor's Office.

The members of the P3TPK Task Force who were sworn in today are considered to have competence in handling and resolving corruption cases which resulted in increased performance in optimizing the targets to be achieved.

On that occasion, he added that currently the Attorney General's Office (Kajagung) generally needs a prosecutor with integrity and not only human resources (HR) who are intelligent but also those who have integrity.

Kajati Kalbar said Attorney General ST Burhanuddin had emphasized that the AGO not only needed a prosecutor who was smart but needed human resources who were smart and had integrity.

He added that the Attorney General would firmly protect prosecutors who dared to fight their superiors, because the superior's orders could violate integrity.

"Of course the new prosecutors will face challenges of their own when carrying out their duties, and don't play games in carrying out their duties, and maintain integrity," he said.
