BTS Will Be On Stage With Lil Nas X At The 2020 Grammy Awards

JAKARTA - The phenomenal K-pop group from South Korea, Bangtan Sonyeondan or known as BTS will appear for the first time at the 2020 Grammy Awards stage. This was confirmed by the Grammy organizers via Twitter.

However, ARMY (as BTS fans) have suspected this since singer Ariana Grande uploaded a photo of the rehearsal session and met BTS. Check it out below:

The popularity of BTS abroad does not need to be doubted. In recent years, this group has always made their comeback stage through talk shows and awards in the United States. Their attendance at the Grammy Awards this year is the second time after last year being the readers of the nominations.

Not performing alone, BTS was confirmed to be on stage with rapper Lil Nas X, who won six nominations for the Grammy Awards. Will they bring the song Seoul Town Road, a collaboration project of one of the BTS members, RM with Lil Nas X? Or BTS's new song, Black Swan, which was just released? Nobody knows yet.

Apart from BTS and Lil Nas X, the confirmed names are Billie Eilish, Billy Ray Cyrus Diplo, Blake Shelton, Aerosmith, Lizzo, Gwen Stefani, Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, Rosalía, Camila Cabello, Tyler, The Creator, Jonas Brothers, Charlie Wilson, HER, Brandi Carlie, and Tanya Tucker.

This year, the Grammy stage also presents a tribute to Nipsey Hussle who died in March 2019. This stage will be filled by DJ Khaled, Kirk Franklin, John Legend, Meek Mill, Roddy Ricch, and YG.

Hosted by Alicia Keys, this event appreciates musicians from various genres and is called the highest international music award. This year, Lizzo won the most nominations with 8 nominations followed by Lil Nas X and Billie Eilish with 6 nominations.

The Grammy Awards ceremony will be held on January 26, 2020 at the Staples Center, Los Angeles.
