SUKABUMI - The Sukabumi Police Criminal Investigation Unit, West Java, arrested two fugitives in the murder case of a middle-aged man named Warta (44), a resident of Nyalindung District, Sukabumi at the end of August 2022."In this murder case there are three suspects, but we have only arrested two perpetrators, namely DL alias Iyong (51) and MS (29). Both were arrested at their respective hiding places," said Sukabumi Police Chief AKBP Dedy Dharmawansyah in Sukabumi, Antara, Tuesday, September 6.According to information from the police, the murder case began when the three suspects, namely DL, MS and Jadug (wanted list of people/DPOs) held a drinking party on August 28, 2022, at around 20.30 WIB at a single orgasm event.The activities of these three perpetrators disturbed the peace of the residents so that Warta (the victim) took the initiative to reprimand one of the suspects, namely Jadug. Instead of stopping his actions, Jadug even challenged the victim and finally an argument ensued.The suspect, DL, who saw his colleague having an argument with the victim without further ado, immediately attacked, kicked and stabbed Warta in the neck with the mandate he was carrying. Jadug and MS also beat the victim with their bare hands until Warta lay down.After killing the victim, the three suspects immediately fled. The Nyalindung Police officer who received the report of an alleged murder immediately coordinated with the Sukabumi Police Satreskrim to hunt down the perpetrators.Two days later or on Tuesday (30/8), the police managed to arrest DL at his brother's house in Limusnunggal Village, Bantargadung Village/District, Sukabumi Regency. Meanwhile, MS was arrested by the police at his parents' house in Cikarang, Bekasi."Until now, we are still searching for another fugitive whose identity has been known. The motive for this murder is that the suspects do not accept being reprimanded by the victim," added the Police Chief.
