Police Hold Internal Meeting On Cases Of Violation Of Princess Rizieq Shihab's Marriage Prokes
JAKARTA - The police held an internal meeting related to the investigation process of a case of alleged violation of the health protocol (prokes) at the wedding of Rizieq Shihab's daughter. The meeting aims to analyze the statements of the witnesses who have been asked for clarification regarding the case.
"Today we are evaluating everything (witness testimony), we are having an internal meeting," said Director of General Criminal Investigation at Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Tubagus Ade Hidayat to reporters, Tuesday, November 24.
Tubagus explained that this internal meeting was different from the title pekara. At this internal meeting, investigators only matched witnesses' testimonies with each other without discussing the matter of increasing the status of the case. Meanwhile, in a case title, investigators will look for criminal offenses. So that when it is found the status of the case will be upgraded to investigation.
"(Title case) We have not yet compiled it first. (This is) just an internal analysis," he said.
With the existence of an internal meeting, investigators did not schedule a witness's clarification regarding this case. Meanwhile, several witnesses who previously did not fulfill the invitation also have not confirmed their presence.
"Today there is no. Today it is an internal meeting to analyze the existing results. While yesterday has not yet arrived, it has not been reconfirmed," he said.
Previously, in the process of investigating this case, dozens of witnesses had already been questioned. Some of them are DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan, who was clarified on Tuesday, November 17. Anies, who was questioned for 7 hours, admitted that he had 33 questions.
Then, Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Riza Patria was also questioned on Monday, November 23. Riza was asked 46 questions, the majority of which were about the crowds in Petamburan and Tebet.
