Garuda Indonesia Provides 150 Swab Test Points For International Flight Passengers
JAKARTA - The national airline Garuda Indonesia provides more than 150 laboratory service points and official reference hospitals (RS) for PCR examinations or COVID-19 swab tests, to make it easier for passengers to fulfill international flight documents.
The laboratory and hospital services, which are spread across more than 40 cities in Indonesia, are a network of 10 swab test service providers that refer to the recommendations of the Ministry of Health.
President Director of Garuda Indonesia Irfaniaputra said that the provision of official reference for PCR / swab test services is a form of Garuda Indonesia's commitment to providing flight services by consistently implementing health protocols in all operational lines.
"This is a form of Garuda Indonesia's commitment in providing safe and comfortable flight services to all passengers, especially on international routes with easy fulfillment of travel documents through reliable PCR / swab test services," said Irfan through an official statement, quoted from Antara, Tuesday 24. November.
Starting from November 26, 2020, all potential passengers on Garuda's international routes can carry out a swab test at the official referral service, to complete travel documents according to the requirements of the health and aviation authorities.
The 10 service network providers of the swab test examination consist of Pertamina Hospital (IHC Group), Siloam Hospital, Bunda Hospital, Prodia Lab, Tirta Medical Center Lab. Then, Primaya Hospital / Awal Bros Hospital, Kimia Farma Clinic Lab, Tabanan Bali Hospital, Bali Mandara Hospital, and the Center for Health Laboratory (BBLK).
Irfan explained that currently his party provides this facility at 150 official referral service points for swab test examinations spread throughout Indonesia.
"In the future, we will continue to update this number periodically according to the recommendation of the Indonesian Ministry of Health, so that the choice of swab test inspection services for prospective passengers can be more diverse," said Irfan.
