Check Accounts, Wage Subsidy Assistance For Educators And Education Personnel Starts Distributed

JAKARTA - Head of the Education and Culture Ministry's (Kemendikbud) Education Financing Service Center Abdul Kahar said that the Wage Subsidy (BSU) for non-PNS Educators and Education Personnel (PTK) began to be distributed.

"This assistance has begun to be distributed to non-PNS PTKs in both private and public schools. This assistance is given in stages until the end of November with a budget of more than IDR 3.6 trillion, ”said Abdul Kahar in his statement in Jakarta, as reported by Antara, Tuesday, November 24.

He explained that the BSU was given to PTK both at the primary and secondary education levels as well as in college. Kahar said that the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic was felt not only by businesses and workers but also honorary teachers.

The amount of the BSU is IDR 1,800,000 which is given once.

The targets who receive the wage subsidy assistance with non-PNS status include lecturers, teachers, teachers who serve as school principals, PAUD educators, equality educators, library staff, laboratory personnel, and administrative staff.

The total target is 2,034,732 people consisting of 162,277 lecturers at PTN and PTS. Then 1,634,832 teachers and educators in public and private education units, as well as 237,623 library staff, general staff, and administrative staff.

"The total budget for the Ministry of Education and Culture's BSU is IDR 3.66 trillion," he explained.

The requirements for PTK to receive the Ministry of Education and Culture's BSU are Indonesian citizens, have status as civil servants, have an income of IDR 5,000,000 per month, do not receive wage or salary subsidies assistance from the Ministry of Manpower until October 1, 2020, and do not receive pre-employment cards until October 1, 2020.

Kahar explained that to disburse the BSU, PTK only prepares supporting documents, namely KTP, NPWP, BSU recipient decree which can be downloaded from GTK and PDDIkti info, and absolute responsibility statement (SPTJM) which can be downloaded from GTK and PDDikti info with stamp duty and signed.

PTK only comes to the channeling bank to activate the account and receive the BSU. PTK is given time to activate the account until June 30, 2021.
