Selling Chips For The Higgs Domino Online Judi Application, Two People Were Secured By The Bintan Police
BINTAN - Security forces continue to move to secure various types of gambling, including online gambling which is currently rife in several areas in the country.
The latest news, Bintan Police, Riau Islands, arrested two men with the initials BD (37) and ARG (18) on suspicion of being involved in a gambling case in the form of selling Higgs Domino application chips which are suspected to be one of the types of online gambling games.
"The arrest of the perpetrator began with reports from local residents related to Higgs Domino's gambling activities," said Bintan Police Chief AKBP Tidar Wulung Dahono, at his office, Saturday, September 3, as quoted by Antara. The perpetrator who is a resident of Tanjung Uban, North Bintan District, Bintan Regency was arrested in the local area, on Wednesday 31 August.
When arrested, both of them had just made a transaction to buy Higgs Domino's chips. In this case, BD plays the role of a dealer or seller as well as a buyer of a chip, while ASG acts as a player or buyer and seller.
BD sellschipperbillion in the amount of Rp65 thousand, while when buying it is priced at Rp60 thousand per one trillion.
"The income of BD as a reservoir and seller of chips, the average daily ranges from Rp. 150 thousand and Rp. 200 thousand to a maximum profit of Rp. 4.5 million to Rp. 6 million per month," said the Police Chief.
According to the Police Chief, currently the two perpetrators and evidence in the form of cash amounting to Rp. 1.2 million and 2 mobile phones were secured at the Bintan Police Headquarters for further investigation. The two perpetrators were subject to Article 303 of the Criminal Code, concerning gambling with a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison.
The Bintan Police Chief also emphasized that this action was a form of the Bintan Police's seriousness in eradicating all forms of gambling activities in the area.
"We hope for support from the community to be proactive in reporting any gambling activities in their area so that public security and order remain conducive," said the Bintan Police Chief.
