Stories Of Employees When The Corona Virus Issues Spread In The BRI Building
JAKARTA - This afternoon, Jakarta residents were alarmed by the issue of an employee from China at PT Huawei Tech Investment contracting the corona virus. The incident was said to have occurred in the BRI 2 office building on the 19th floor, to be precise.
The location was busy. A number of offices in the building have made a number of anticipations, one of which is distributing masks to employees. These masks were distributed around 13.30 WIB, during lunch.
"Around half past 2, there was a distribution of masks. Not all employees use it," said Arif to VOI at the BRI 2 Building, Thursday, January 23.
He added that even though masks were distributed and they were told that there was information about the corona virus, there was no panic from the employees in this building.
A similar statement was also made by a security officer for the BRI 2 building, Firmansyah. He said, the activities of the employees in this building were running normally.
"Employees here do their activities as they can. They go home according to schedule every day. So there is nothing strange," said Firman.
Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) Corporate Secretary Hari Purnomo said the issue of the corona virus was not true. Because, the results of the doctor's examination, this Huawei employee who was rumored to have contracted the virus was not proven.
"The Huawei worker has been rushed to the nearest hospital for medical treatment and from the hospital diagnosis, it is stated that the worker has strep throat," said Hari in a written statement.
He also emphasized that BRI Bank prioritizes the Office Work Safety and Health Management System (SMK3) for its workers. Moreover, this is as stated in the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia. No. 48 of 2016.
