Halim Perdanakusuma Airport Officially Operates Again After The Revitalization Of The Village

JAKARTA - The first commercial flight operation at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport after the revitalization, on Thursday, September 1, went smoothly.

AP II President Director Muhammad Awaluddin explained that the successful commercial flight operations were thanks to collaboration and support from all parties, including the wider community.

"All good personnel from AP II and airlines have carried out their duties well. Likewise with aspects of facilities for safety, safety and service that function well," Awaluddin said in Jakarta, Thursday, September 1, quoted from Antara.

Awaluddin expressed his gratitude for the good collaboration of all stakeholders, including the Indonesian Air Force, Ministry of Transportation, ATS as the manager of land assets utilization, AirNav, KKP Ministry of Health as well as support from airplane passengers and the wider community.

He said the revitalization of Halim Perdanakusuma Airport carried out by the Ministry of Transportation was also very supportive of flight operations and services to airplane passengers.

Revitalization on the air side includes runways and aprons. Meanwhile, land side revitalization is carried out at the aircraft passenger terminal.

Executive General Manager of Halim Perdanakusuma Airport Marsma TNI Nandang Sukarna explained that there were four commercial flights at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport on September 1, 2022, namely four flights (take off and landing) of Citilink airline.

The route served by Citilink on Thursday's flight to Halim Perdanakusuma Airport is from and to Denpasar and Surabaya.

He was grateful that all commercial flight operations at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport went smoothly and successfully.

He emphasized that AP II together with all stakeholders will continue to maintain smooth flight operations, airport operations and continuously improve service standards for airplane passengers.

He said Halim Perdanakusuma Airport was also preparing to serve more commercial flights in the near future.

Through the revitalization that has been carried out by the Ministry of Transportation and good collaboration from all stakeholders, Halim Perdanakusuma Airport is very ready to serve the community in traveling by air, including welcoming the arrival of the G20 delegation.
