JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is investigating allegations of giving bribes through companies connected to former Tanah Bumbu Regent Mardani H. Maming.This was done by examining a private employee named Zainuddin. He became a witness related to the alleged bribery of mining business permits (IUP) in Tanah Bumbu Regency."Located at the KPK's Red and White Building, the investigative team has finished examining witnesses," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters, Thursday, September 1.From the examination, investigators explored a number of things. Including the giving of money to Mardani through a company that is connected to him."Hadir was confirmed, among other things, related to the alleged flow of money received by suspect MM from the issuance of IUP for several companies that are still connected to Tsk MM as the controller," he said.It was not specified what the company was. However, the KPK hopes that Zainuddin's statement can make the case that ensnared the former General Treasurer of the Nahdlatul Ulama Executive Board (PBNU).As previously reported, the KPK has named Mardani H. Maming as a suspect in alleged bribery and gratification of mining business permits in Tanah Bumbu Regency. He was named a suspect in the recipient.Meanwhile, as the giver, Hendry Soetio, who is the controller of PT Prolindo Cipta Nusantara (PCN), was declared dead.Even though he died, the KPK ensured that investigators had received evidence related to Mardani's acceptance.
