Dozens Of People In The Rizieq Shihab Crowd Positive For COVID-19, The Provincial Government Will Carry Out Contact Tracing
JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria confirmed that he would conduct contact tracing for all supporters of Rizieq Shihab who tested positive for COVID-19. About 80 people confirmed positive because they were involved in the crowd in the Petamburan and Tebet areas.
"Everything that is positive will be contact tracing and treatment," said Riza to reporters, Monday, November 23.
However, Riza did not explain when the contact tracing would be carried out. Riza then appealed to the public to stay disciplined with the applicable regulations.
"In principle, we ask the public to be obedient and obedient," he said.
Later the Health Service (Dinkes) will trace people who have a history of contact with positive patients who will be asked to undergo a swab test. In fact, if they refuse, there will be fines given.
The sanctions are given in accordance with Regional Regulation (Perda) Number 2 of 2020 concerning the prevention of Corona Virus Desease 2019 (COVID-19).
"There are rules for the maximum fine of up to Rp. 5 million, even if there is an act of violence it can be up to Rp. 7 million," he said
Previously, Acting Director General of Disease Prevention and Control of the Ministry of Health, Budi Hidayat, explained the results of examinations through PCR tests on the crowds who gathered during Rizieq Shihab's activities. A total of 80 people were confirmed positive with 50 positive cases of COVID-19, including in Tebet and 30 cases in Petamburan.
In addition, data on PCR tests carried out in regional health laboratories until November 21, 2020 are still waiting for the results of 15 cases originating from a crowd that occurred in Megamendung Bogor, West Java.
"For the crowds of activities carried out in the context of religious and wedding ceremonies, the Ministry of Health urges anyone who follows and anyone who feels close contact with the people present to carry out independent isolation for 14 days," Budi said, Sunday, November 22.
