Take A Peek At Jokowi's Agenda In Papua Recently: From The Delivery Of Social Assistance, The Launch Of The Papua Football Academy, To The Freeport Visit
YOGYAKARTA President Joko Widodo left for Papua accompanied by Mrs. Iriana Joko Widodo on Tuesday, August 30, 2022. There are several Jokowi agendas in Papua, starting from the submission of the Business Identification Number (NIB) for micro and small business actors (UMK) and individuals until the inauguration of the Papua Football Academy.
With the Presidential plane 1st, the President and his entourage took off from Halim Perdanakusuma Airport, Jakarta, Tuesday at around 12.00 WIB. The plane landed at Sentani International Airport, Jayapura Regency at around 19.00 WIT.
Arriving at Sentani International Airport, Jayapura, President Jokowi and Iriana traveled to the hotel for approximately 20 minutes. The President rested before carrying out a series of working visits starting Wednesday, August 31. The Jokowi agenda series are as follows.
The first day of a working visit to Papua, Jokowi started a working visit by visiting the Lukas Enembe Stadium, Jayapura Regency, August 31, 2022 at around 08.00 WIT. The President here launched the Papua Football Academy (PFA).

At PFA, the President hopes that the local government can pay more attention to sports facilities, especially football. The inauguration was not only attended by officials but also attended by 3,000 children from 36 high school and 14 junior high schools from both regencies and Jayapura City.
After inaugurating PFA, President Jokowi then handed over the BLT for the transfer of fuel subsidies at the Sentani Branch Post Office, Jayapura Regency.
Today we have started the distribution of fuel subsidy BLT which is given to the community for 4 months, per month it is given Rp. 150,000, so the total is Rp. 600,000, and given twice, Rp. 300,000, Rp. 300,000. Today it has started at the Jayapura Regency Post Office, in Sentani, Jayapura," said Jokowi.
After handing over the BBM BLT, the President then had time to meet the demonstrators next to the post office. They protested the closure of SMP Negeri 1 Sentani. The president then met three representatives from the demonstrators and held a dialogue.
As a result, the Minister of Investment/Head of BKPM Bahlil Lahadalia resolved the problem by renting school land until 2023 while waiting for the Jayaupura Regency Government to complete the construction of the school building.
The President continued his working visit to Papua by reviewing the Healthy Home area of Doyo Baru Village, Waibu District, Jayapura Regency, Wednesday afternoon. On this occasion, the President conveyed the importance of the house being built so that it could be immediately occupied for the good ecosystem.
The President then distributed the Business Identification Number (NIB) to MSME players at GOR Toware, Jayapura. On that occasion, Jokowi said that by owning NIB, MSME actors can access legal capital in banking.
After handing over NIB, the President also took the time to visit PT Freeport Indonesia in Mimika Regency. Jokowi and Iriana stay in touch with PT Freeport Indonesia (PTFI) employees at Sport Hall, Tembagapura District, Mimika Regency, on Wednesday night. On that occasion, Jokowi also said that he plans to see mining management with new technology, namely 5G mining.
President Jokowi and Mrs. Iriana Jokowi and their entourage arrived at Grassberg on Thursday, September 1, 2022, at 08.15 WIT. During a visit accompanied by the President Director of PT. Freeport Indonesia (PTFI) Tony Wenas, the President visited the Bunaken Museum to get an explanation of the mining history of PTFI.

The President, who had been at Grassberg for 2 hours, continued his journey to underground mining. At that place the President inspected the control room for controlling 5G-tech heavy equipment, quoted in an official statement from the Presidential Secretariat.
After that the President will go to DMLZ underground. On the official website of the Presidential Secretariat, it was stated that the President would review the places of worship underground, namely the Jami Baabul Munawwar Mosque and the Oikumene Soteria Church.
After that, the President will go to Tera Shop to launch the latest technology in the mining sector, namely 5G mining. 5G mining technology is the result of collaboration between Telkom Group and PTFI.
Meanwhile, in the afternoon, the President and Mrs. Iriana were scheduled to take off on the Presidential Aircraft RJ-85 to Tanimbar Islands Regency, Maluku Province, via Mozes Kilangin International Airport Timika.
