Former Lawyer Bharada E Heran, Ferdy Sambo's Wife, A Suspect In The Murder Case, Was Laughed At
JAKARTA - Former lawyer for Bharada totaling or Bharada E, Deolipa Yumara, spoke about the development of Ferdy Sambo's wife, Putri Chandawathi. According to him, with the absence of the suspect Putri Chandrawathi, it is considered a very fatal tragedy. Moreover, Ferdy Sambo's wife is a suspect in premeditated murder.
"Throughout history, there has been a fatal incident where the suspect (Article) 340 has not been arrested and is free to roam around," said Deolipa Yumara to reporters at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Wednesday, August 31.
Deolipa admitted that the detention or not for Putri Chandrawathi was the investigator's decision. However, he considered that the absence of Ferdy Sambo's wife was an authoritarian attitude displayed by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police.
"Indeed, the detention of suspects is the investigator's authority, however, investigators must not remain authoritarian about the issue of handling suspects (Article) 340 (KUHP)," he concluded.
Previously, it was reported that the special team (timsus) of the National Police decided to repatriate Putri Candrawati and continue her examination next week. However, anticipatory steps have been taken to prevent Inspector General Ferdy Sambo's wife from escaping and eliminating evidence.
"Technically, investigators have prepared it. Investigators have prepared in detail," said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo when asked about the demarcation, Friday, August 26.
When asked about the possibility that Putri Candrawati, who was not detained, would meet 'outside parties' to deceive the ongoing legal process, Inspector General Dedi said the investigation team had also anticipated it.
However, it was not clearly explained that the steps referred to by Inspector General Dedi had been prepared by investigators.
"Investigators also anticipate it all," said Dedi.
