Bireuen Aceh Police Arrested 27 Years Of Youth Who Bringed 1.080 Subsidized Fuel Literers Without A Permit
ACEH - Criminal Investigation Unit (Polres) Bireuen, Aceh Police arrested a suspected carrier of 1,080 liters of subsidized fuel (BBM) without a permit.Bireuen Police Chief AKBP Mike Hardy Wirapraja said the carrier of the subsidized fuel without a permit was arrested with the initials NB (27), a resident of Jangka, Bireuen Regency."NB was found transporting more than one ton of subsidized fuel in Jangka Masjid Village, Jangka District, Bireuen Regency on Wednesday," said Mike Hardy in Bireuen, Aceh, Antara, Wednesday, August 31.The arrest of NB was based on information from the public. The Bireuen Police then deployed personnel from the Criminal Investigation Unit to investigate. The results of the investigation found that NB had transported 1,080 liters of subsidized fuel and would be disclosed to consumers.The perpetrators were charged with Article 55 of Law Number 22 of 2001 concerning Oil and Gas of the Earth as amended by Law Number 11 of 2020 concerning Job Creation."The perpetrators and the confiscated evidence were in the form of a motorcycle rickshaw, three jerry cans containing diesel, five drums containing diesel, and Rp5 million in cash were secured to the Bireuen Police for legal processing," said AKBP Mike Hardy Wirapraja.Separately, Pidie Police personnel arrested the perpetrators of the misuse of subsidized fuel with the initials N (44). The perpetrators modified the L300 pickup truck oil tank so that its capacity exceeded the factory capacity.Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Pidie Police, Iptu Muhammad Rizal, said that he bought diesel fuel at gas stations. The oil was then sucked in and put in the jerry. Then, the perpetrator bought more subsidized fuel at gas stations."The subsidy BBM was resold at a price of Rp. 7,000 per liter. Now, N and evidence in the form of a L300 pickup truck, eight jerry cans containing subsidized diesel were secured to the Pidie Police for further legal processing," said Iptu Muhammad Rizal.
