Kemenpora Facilitating AFC Licensed Trainer Education
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora) continues to improve football achievements. One of them is by preparing educational and coaching facilities for trainers to get an AFC C license.
This was done by the Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) Zainudin Amali when he closed the AFC C License Trainer Training activity, and reviewed the renovation of the Captain I Wayan Dipta Stadium (Gianyar), I Gusti Ngurah Rai Stadium (Denpasar) and Gelora Tri Sakti Stadium (Kuta).
The government (Kemenpora RI) continues to support the development and progress of Indonesian sports in accordance with Presidential Instruction (Inpres) No.3 of 2019 concerning the acceleration of national football achievements. One of them is by holding training for AFC C license trainers in collaboration with PSSI.
"Through this training, I hope that quality coaches will emerge who are able to find and create talented soccer players," said Zainudin Amali in a press statement received by VOI, Saturday, November 14.
He explained that the implementation of the AFC C license trainer training in collaboration with PSSI and all the training costs was financed by the Ministry of Youth and Sports State Budget. Zainudin said that a quality coach is one of the keys to improving football achievement in addition to supporting facilities and infrastructure, as well as other aspects.
"I hope that through this training there will be a trainer who can match the level of our National Team Coach Shin Tae Yong, so the participants should not stop at this level, pursue the next international level, at least the AFC Pro level, the government is ready to facilitate," he said.
Zainudin also took the time to review the renovation of existing stadiums in Bali, including the I Wayan Dipta main stadium in Gianyar, Bali. He hopes that after being renovated these stadiums will increase the tourism potential which is packaged in the development of sport tourism.
"I am confident and optimistic that Bali will be a good and successful host because it has experience in holding various international and world level events. I also advise the Provincial and City / Regency Governments to prepare the necessary support for the success of the event," he said.
Furthermore, Zainudin hopes that by proposing Bali as the host city for the FIFA U-20 World Cup Indonesia 2021, it can be a momentum to accelerate the improvement of Bali's football achievements which in turn can support the Indonesian national team.
