Dead Machines In The Waters Of Binuangeun, Banten Fishermen Lost In High Waves
BANTEN - Banten Basarnas conducted a search operation for a fisherman named Jarman (49), who was reported missing in Binuangeun Waters, Wanasalam District, Lebak Regency, Banten Province, Tuesday, August 30. Head of Banten Basarnas Adil Triyanto said his party received a report on Tuesday at 09.15 WIB regarding the incident where the Star Motor Ship (KM) died engine in Binuangeun waters due to bad weather.
Based on a report on Monday, August 29 at 13.00 WIB, the fishing boats KM Bintang sailed from the Queen Harbor to Binuangeun Harbor with POB 3 people including Iwan (40) as Capten Ship, Aming (40) and Jarman (40). The three fishermen from KM Bintang are all residents of Wanasalam, Lebak Regency.
The fishermen from KM Bintang were about to enter the fishing port in Binuangeun about 2 kilometers from the port of the ship's dead engine due to being hit by high waves until the ship spent the night and was floating in the middle of the sea. Thus, Basarnas Banten dispatched a rescue team from the Lebak Alert Unit Post to evacuate fishermen from KM Bintang who died engines. The Joint SAR team found 2 survivors swimming to the beach on behalf of Iwan and Amin and both were immediately taken to the Binuangeun Health Center.
Meanwhile, another person on behalf of Jarman disappeared and is currently still being searched for by the joint SAR team. "We hope that the missing fisherman can be found safe," he said.
