16 Hidran Mandiri Built In 16 Hard Location Points For Water Sources
JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Fire and Safety Service (Gulkarmat) has built independent hydrants in 16 locations in the Jakarta area where water sources have been having difficulties so far.
Head of the DKI Jakarta Gulkarmat Service, Satriadi, said that the construction of this independent hydrant was an effort to accelerate the prevention of fires in densely populated areas that so far do not have or are far from water sources, both piping and natural.
"Well, our effort is to build an independent hydrant in an area that is indeed far from water sources, especially those with dense occupancy," Satriadi said, quoting Antara, Tuesday, August 30.
The independent hydrant, continued Satriadi, was built in the middle of a village where the water source came from rainwater which was accommodated and flowed to various predetermined points to be used by firefighters.
"So the independent hydrant pump under which there is a water reservoir, the water source from the rain water is put into the storage tank," said Satriadi.
Based on data from the DKI Jakarta Gulkarmat Service, the 16 independent hydrant locations are in Central Jakarta in RW 014 Kebon Melati Village (long 919 meters of pipe, 11 box hydrant points, and 1 point gamense connecting); in RW 01 Galur Village (longs of 540 meters of box hydrants, 10 box hydrants, two glimes connecting, and 2 pillars hidden); in RW 10 Menteng Village (panjang pipe 832 meters, 12 box hydrants, a game Connecting 1 fruit, and 2 pillars hidden).
For North Jakarta, in RW 05, Cilincing Village (long pipelines 575 meters, 5 box hydrant points, and gamense connecting 3 points); in RW 12 Pademangan Village (long pipeline 837 meters, 12 box hydrants, gamense connecting 1 point, and 2 pillar hydrants); in RW 05 Koja Village (longs of 525 meters, 7 box hydrants, game connecting 1 point, and 2 pillars of hydrants).
For West Jakarta, at RW 07, Cengkareng Timur Village (long pipelines 470 meters, 6 box hydrants, and games connecting 2 points); in RW 08 Palmerah Village (longs of pipe 860 meters, 13 box hydrants, gamense connecting 2 points, and 2 pillars hidden); in RW 04 North Kedoya Village (long 917 meters of pipe, 8 box hydrants, games connecting 2 points, and 2 pillars of hydrants).
For South Jakarta, in RW 08, South Manggarai Village (long pipelines 621 meters, 11 box hydrants, and a gamese connecting 1 point); in RW 02 North Cipete Village (longs of 802 meters pipe, 9 box hydrants, gamense connecting 2 points, and 2 pillar hydrants); in RW 05 North Gandaria Village (longs of 815 meters pipe, 11 box hydrants, game Connecting 2 points, and 2 pillars hydrants).
For East Jakarta, at RW 09 Pisangan Baru Village (long pipelines 490 meters, 8 box hydrants, and a gamese connecting 1 point); in RW 10, Centek Ciracas Village (longs of 736 meters pipe, 10 box hydrants, 1 point camense connecting, and 2 pillars hydrants); in RW 08 Halim Perdanakusuma Village (long 801 meters of pipe, 10 box hydrants, 1 point connecting ceiling, and 2 pillars of hydrants); in RW 11 North Cipinang Besar Village (long pipe 789 meters, 10 box hydrants, connecting 2 points, and 2 pillar hydrants).
In the future, said Satriadi, this independent hydrant facility will continue to be reproduced by considering population density and geography.
"In the future, we will add more. We prioritize areas that are densely residential, far from water sources, and far from fire stations," he added.
As for the conventional urban hydrants in Jakarta itself at this time, there are around 1,800 units, and which function well around 70-80 percent.
The purpose of functioning properly, said Satriadi, does not mean that there is no water hydrant, but has minimal pressure so that its performance is not optimal.
This is also because water sources for hydrants are united with piped water for consumption.
"So everything actually works, but the pressure is different, it's like if you look at the cartoon film hydrants, you can pick up the car, but if we are here we have to suck it up like that, not rely on pressure," he said.
