The KPK Untad Desak Kejati Central Sulawesi Investigated The Alleged Corruption Of BLU At Tadulako University

PALU - The Tadulako University Campus Care Group (KPK Untad) urged the Central Sulawesi Province High Prosecutor's Office to investigate allegations of corruption in the funds of the public service agency (BLU) on the local campus."Law enforcement officials must immediately take concrete steps because we have reported this for a long time, both to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK RI) and the Central Sulawesi Prosecutor's Office," said KPK Chairman Untad Djayani Nurdin in Palu, Antara, Tuesday, August 30.He explained the pressure through letter Number: 006/KPK-UTD/VIII/2021 regarding the request for an explanation to the Central Sulawesi Prosecutor's Office, to obtain legal considerations related to data on alleged BLU Financial misappropriation. The letter follows a KPK Untad report related to the potential loss to the state which was found by the Supervisory Board for the management of BLU funds amounting to Rp. 10,284,835,000.This amount, continued Djayani, is a combination of the recapitulation of the allocation of funds and operational costs in institutions that are not registered with the Untad Governance Organization from 2018 to 2020."This decision is an attitude or a way to fight for integrity, and academic freedom as an inseparable part of the principles of fair law enforcement," explained Djayani. He also said that one of the bases of pressure was the issuance of a letter of investigation results from the Inspectorate General of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology number 0812/G.G6/RHS/WS.00.02/2022, regarding the return of the audit results. Therefore, the KPK Untad also encouraged the Ministry of Education and Culture to impose severe disciplinary and administrative sanctions against unscrupulous Untad officials who were proven to have abused their authority, causing billions of rupiah in state losses.Previously, the Lokataru Foundation expressed its willingness to advocate for alleged misappropriation of public service agency funds (BLU) at Tadulako University (Untad). The Executive Director of the Lokataru Foundation, Haris Azhar in Palu, explained that the alleged corruption case was a serious matter so that it had to get advocacy not only on a regional scale but on a national scale.
