"We have received the report, and we are still studying the report," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Samarinda Police, Kompol Andika Dharma Sena in Samarinda, quoted from Antara, Monday, August 29.

The report was submitted to the Samarinda Police by the Legal Consultation and Aid Institute (LKBH) of the Faculty of Law Unmul and the Center for Women and Children Studies (PUSHPA).

The lecturer was accused of harassing a number of female students who were undergoing final duties in college.

"On behalf of the victims, we have officially reported this alleged immoral crime case to law enforcement officials for further processing," said Alfian, the victim's attorney.

Alfian as the representative of the LKBH of the Unmul Faculty of Law explained that the alleged immoral act by unscrupulous lecturers was carried out on three female students who were undergoing final duties in the course of 2021.

"This lecturer is the supervisor in the final task of the victims," explained Alfian.

Based on the statements of the victims, Alfian explained that the lecturers had asked several times to be massaged when the victim was conducting a thesis guidance consultation.

In addition, the lecturer often asks the victims to bring gifts as a levy for the final task guidance process.

"We hope that this case report will be followed up according to the applicable regulations, because we hope that there will be learning to all parties, especially educational institutions so that cases like this do not happen again," he explained.
