Manchester City Manajemen Kasih Uang Jajan Ke Pep Guardiola Rp1,7 Triliun Di Bursa Transfer Januari Nanti
JAKARTA - Manchester City is believed to be spending big again in the January transfer market. Pep Guardiola manager has received a "green light" from the club's management to spend £100 million (around Rp1.7 trillion) to buy the desired player.
In this summer's exchange, Manchester City has spent £1010 million (equivalent to Rp1.8 trillion). The funds were used to buy Erling Haaland, Kalvin Phillips, Sergio Gomez and Julian Alvarez.
However, management also received a large amount of funds from the sale of players. Reportedly, they have collected around £250 million (worth Rp4.3 trillion) since January 2022.
Some of the funds were obtained from the sale of Raheem Sterling, Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko.
Reported by The Sun, Guardiola will look for interesting talent at the Qatar 2022 World Cup. The tournament will end on December 18, the perfect time to hunt players.
Currently, Man City has a limited squad. The core team consists of only 18 senior players. This makes young academy stars such as Cole Palmer and Rico Lewis can be called up if any player is absent due to injury.
Despite the "fat" squad, the Spaniard is already quite happy with the performances his players gave earlier this season.
Man City is one of the unbeaten clubs and is second in the standings, behind Arsenal.
