The Attorney General's Office Has Determined The Development Of The Ferdy Sambo Case File This Afternoon
JAKARTA - The Attorney General's Office (AGO) is scheduled to convey the progress of handling the Ferdy Sambo case file and three other suspects in the premeditated murder case of Brigadier J on Monday, August 29 afternoon.
"Later, at 14.00 WIB, I will update with my media friends. The plan is to stop," said Head of the AGO's Legal Information Center (Kapuspenkum) Ketut Sumedana via text message, quoted from Antara, Monday, August 29.
The Bareskrim Polri investigation team has transferred the case files phase I to the public prosecutor (JPU) on Friday 19 August. The four suspects are Ferdy Sambo, Bharada Richard totaling, Bripka Ricky Rizal, and Strong Ma'ruf.
In accordance with Article 138 of the Criminal Procedure Code, after receiving the results of the investigation from investigators, the prosecutor's office immediately studied within seven days and informed investigators whether the results of the study were complete or not.
If it turns out that it is incomplete, the prosecutor's office will return the case file to the investigator and ask to complete it within 14 days from the date of receiving the file.
After the investigators completed the case file, he continued, the prosecutor's office determined whether the case file could or not be transferred to the court.
Previously, the Head of the Special Police Team, Komjen Pol. Agung Budi Maryoto said the Criminal Investigation Team of the National Police Headquarters was working marathons to complete the case files of the four suspects so that they could be transferred to the Public Prosecutor.
"That's what it's done. Therefore, investigators and Timsus are working on a marathon, especially for the four suspects, namely FS, KM, RR, and RE, to the maximum complete the filing of the case," Agung said in Jakarta, Friday, August 26.
Until now, the police have named five suspects in the premeditated murder case at the official residence of the head of the National Police Professional and Security Division. The fifth suspect in that case is Ferdy Sambo's wife, Putri Candrawati, who has undergone her first examination on Friday.
The examination of the suspect Putri was temporarily suspended due to health reasons and continued on Wednesday (August 31). During the examination, Friday, Putri answered 80 questions from investigators; while the agenda for further examination is a confrontation examination.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday (August 30) a reconstruction will be carried out at the Duren Tiga crime scene, South Jakarta, attended by five suspects and lawyers, investigators, public prosecutors, the National Police Commission (Kompolnas), and the National Human Rights Commission (Komnas HAM).
