Allegations Of Dilapidation Of Monas Revitalization Contractors And All Their Rebuttals

JAKARTA - The construction of the National Monument revitalization project on the south side which has been delayed from the work target has raised questions about the credibility of PT Bahana Prima Nusantara as a contractor.

Departing from there, the contractor's office was traced, one of which was by the PSI faction of the DKI DPRD. PT Bahana Prima Nusantara office is located at Jalan Nusa Indah No. 33, Ciracas, Kec. Ciracas, City of East Jakarta.

Apparently, PSI found the location of the office to be in a printing shop in an alley in a residential area. PT Bahana Prima Nusantara rented a “virtual office” at this location.

News circulated that the original office of PT Bahana Prima Nusantara is located at Jalan Letjen Suprapto Number 60, Central Jakarta. However, after being traced by various parties, the actual location of the company was not found.

"The issue of the address of the PT Bahana Prima Nusantara office is still confusing. Where is the real address? If the contractor does not provide correct information during the auction process, then it is a violation, ”said a member of the PSI Advocacy team, Patriot Muslim at the KPK's Red and White House, South Jakarta, Thursday, January 23.

Due to the unclear address, Patriot considered that it should be suspected that PT Bahana Prima Nusantara was a "flag company".

According to Patriot, if it is true that the contractor is a flag company or even a paper company, it is necessary to conduct an examination to clarify whether the implementation of this project contract is in accordance with the law or has the potential to harm the state.

Therefore, the DKI PSI Advocacy team came to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) building, intending to report the alleged game between the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government for passing PT Bahana Prima Nusantara as a contractor.

"Why did we go to the Corruption Eradication Commission? Because it is clear that there are allegations of involvement of state officials, namely the related SKPD that could pass the contractor," said Patriot.

However, the report cannot be processed by the KPK because the documents are still incomplete. "But earlier there were still files that had to be completed, namely contract documents, so we couldn't show them yet," said Patriot.

Contractor's rebuttal

The National Monument (Monas) revitalization project contractor, PT Bahana Prima Nusantara, has denied the company's accusations of being fake and its credibility is doubtful. President Director of PT Bahana Prima Nusantara Muhidin Shaleh emphasized that the company has the legality and validated contract documents to be declared the winner of the auction for the revitalization of the south side of Monas.

"The allegation that our office is fake is not true. Why did PT Bahana win because we are a specialist garden contractor company," said Muhidin when met in the Menteng area, Central Jakarta, Thursday, January 23.

PT Bahana Prima Nusantara's legal team, Abu Bakar, regretted the attitude of the Jakarta PSI which accused the existence of contract games only because the company address used a virtual office or rented an address. Abu Bakar explained, the virtual office is located at Jalan Nusa Indah No. 33, Ciracas, Kec. Ciracas, East Jakarta City is legal in the eyes of the law.

Abu said, Perda No. 1/2014 on Zoning which was signed by Joko Widodo when he was Governor of DKI emphasized that there are areas that have office zoning that can place businesses in the service sector. "For efficiency, we rent an address at that place," he said.

"After all, we have an operational office in Cempaka Putih. In the association office, we have a lease, on the 3rd floor, it is operational about this. Now, if the virtual office concerns administrative matters," he added.

PSI summons plan

Justin Adrian, a member of the Jakarta DPRD from the PSI faction, raised the issue of alleged fake offices on his Twitter account. Warganet's tweet has become a hot topic of discussion. In his Twitter account, Justin revealed the location of PT Bahana's virtual office and considered it less convincing to be a construction service office.

PT Bahana Prima Nusantara President Director Muhidin Shaleh felt Justin's accusation was too premature and had no legal basis. "We are sorry that the PSI Council members only watch and rely on the google map and immediately issue a statement, this is what we regret," said Muhidin.

Therefore, PT Bahana Prima Nusantara will send a summons to Justin. "We will submit subpoena to those concerned," said Muhidin.
