VIDEO: Metro Jaya Police Dismantles Drug Cases To Destroy Dozens Of Alcohol Bottles

JAKARTA - These illicit goods include 626 kg of marijuana, 131 kg of crystal methamphetamine, 108 thousand ecstasy pills, and 27,650 bottles of unlicensed or illegal liquor. This evidence was confiscated by officers from 66 suspects who were secured in several locations within the jurisdiction of Metro Jaya Police. In addition to drugs, officers are also developing this case into the realm of money laundering or ML. As a result, officers confiscated three vehicles purchased for the sale of narcotics and one billion rupiahs in cash. The suspects will be charged with Law No. 35 of 2009 on narcotics, which carries a minimum prison sentence of five years and a maximum death penalty. Tens of thousands of bottles of liquor were immediately destroyed by being run over using heavy equipment vehicles. Watch the video below.
