Disapproved Of Being Yelled At And Cursed By The Driver Of Plate F, Transjakarta Driver Reports To South Jakarta Police On Persecution

JAKARTA - The Transjakarta driver suspected of being a victim of abuse by the Honda car driver will report to the South Jakarta Metro Police.

This was stated by Acting Head of Sub-Directorate of Gakkum Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya, Kompol Edy Purwanto. "Regarding the persecution that was slapped, he will now report to the South Jakarta Metro Police," said Edy when contacted by VOI, Jakarta, Friday, August 26.

Edy said he learned this information after contacting Transjakarta.

Edy ensured that the incident did not contain elements of a traffic accident, but rather mistreatment by the Honda car driver.

"So, I confirmed earlier that the driver or the driver was not involved in traffic accidents, so Transjakarta did not report it to us, so it was pure persecution," he said.

When asked about the cause and chronology of the incident, Edy admitted that he did not know it. Because based on the information of the driver, it was clear that there was no element of an accident.

"Yes, it is the South Jakarta Satreskrim (Polres). Because the realm is persecution," he concluded.

Viral on social media is a video showing the commotion between private car drivers and Transjakarta bus drivers. This incident occurred on Jalan TB Simatupang, South Jakarta, at night.

A driver of this car came and cursed the driver of Tansjakarta through the driver's right side window. The man in the Honda car felt that the Transjakarta driver would graze his vehicle from behind.

However, the video does not explain in detail the problems that caused a Honda car driver numbered F 1604 RA with the Transjakarta driver.

"So you don't understand behind your back? You don't understand behind your back, I ask?" said the man in the video shared by the Twitter account @ganarmdhn, quoted Friday, August 26.

The Transjakarta driver then replied to the man's statement. "Just next to me can enter," said the driver.

Still defending his argument, the car driver felt that he had entered the left lane first.

"I'm already halfway here (way). Then, you think using your brain," replied the man

Emotions were still running high, the man then swatted the Transjakarta driver's face and left the bus to head for his car.

This incident was recorded by one of the Transjakarta passengers who was next to the driver.

In response to this, the Head of the Corporate Secretary Division of PT Transjakarta Anang Rizkani Noor said that his party was examining the video. "We are checking," said Anang in a short message.
