Tragedy Befalls Mayweather: Relatives Of Boyfriend Killed In His Condominium, Suspected Of Suicide
JAKARTA - A man named Jarrett Johnson was found dead in the condominium owned by Floyd Mayweather Jr. While nothing has been confirmed, Johnson may have committed suicide.
The death of Johnson, who is a relative of Mayweather's girlfriend, Jamie Lynn, was announced on Thursday. Johnson was a standout athlete in his college days.
Johnson's suicide occurred earlier this week, TMZ Sports reported, after he was found by a friend at the Las Vegas condo belonging to boxing legend 'Money'.
Johnson was found by a friend on August 22 at around 4:40 p.m. He called 911 for help, but when police responded, the 24-year-old was dead.
"Jarrett died by hanging," the statement read, quoted from Marca, Friday.
It is not known whether at the time of the incident Johnson was living in the apartment belonging to the world's greatest boxer or not.
Johnson himself is known to be very prominent in the game of american football while studying at Lindenwood University in St. He plays in various positions.
