Tickets For The Most Selling Argentina National Team Group Qualification Match At The 2022 World Cup Qatar

JAKARTA - Tickets for the two matches of the Argentine national team in the preliminary round of Group C of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar have been purchased by football fans the most.

The two matches are Argentina against Saudi Arabia on November 22 and against arch-rivals Mexico on November 26.

"The most requested," Organizing Committee CEO Nasser Al-Khater told national news agency QNA on Wednesday night, reported by Super Sport.

Both matches will be played at the 80,000-seater Lusail stadium. The stadium will be used for the final match of the quadrennial event on 18 December.

Al-Khater did not provide details on how many tickets were sold. However, he confirmed the Argentina versus Mexico duel was sold out in the first round of online sales earlier this year.

Earlier, international football's governing body (FIFA) said this month 2.45 million tickets had been sold for the first World Cup to be hosted in the Middle East.

FIFA itself has prepared a total of 3.2 million tickets for this year's World Cup. Approximately one million tickets from that amount were given to FIFA sponsors and partners.
