Residents From West Java To East Java Come To Anies' House, Asking The DKI Governor To Become A Presidential Candidate For 2024
JAKARTA - A number of people from West Java, Central Java, Yogyakarta, to East Java visited the residence of the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan.
The arrival of residents from various regions of Java Island on Wednesday, August 24 in the morning until this morning, was warmly welcomed by Anies. Anies invited them to gather in the pavilion of his house on Jalan Lebak Bulus II Dalam, South Jakarta.
One of the representatives of the residents present named Uun Untamiharja said that their arrival was aimed at asking Anies to nominate himself as a presidential candidate for the 2024 General Election.
Uun hopes that Anies can become a national leader and fully dedicate himself to improving the welfare of rural communities.
"We villagers dream of Pak Anies going down to the village, leading the movement to build a better Indonesia, starting from the village. As Pak Anies has done a lot through Indonesia Teaching," said Uun in the meeting, quoted on Thursday, August 25.
Another citizen representative named Nurodin expressed his wish that political parties could hear their aspirations to elect Anies to be carried in the political contestation later.
Because, according to Solihin, Anies is the right person to lead Indonesia and make real changes for the country towards a better direction.
"Residents from outside Jakarta long for a nurturing leader who is proven to be consistent in realizing social justice," said Solihin representing the aspirations of the people of West Java.
After listening to the aspirations of residents from various regions in Java, Anies revealed that the expected changes can only be realized if all the people move together.
"Maintain sincerity, ignite enthusiasm, move all power, reach all directions! God willing, this climbing road will Allah SWT open unexpected routes to arrive at the intended goal and hope, justice for all," said Anies closing the meeting.
